Breaking Breaking Bad News of the Day: AMC announced yesterday that it has picked up 16 additional episodes of the critically acclaimed drama Breaking Bad, comprising the network’s final order.
According to the official press release, production will begin in early 2012, but the roll-out — which may split the episodes into two seasons — and a premiere date have yet to be determined.
[deadline.]
I’m glad to see that they have an end date now. Breaking Bad is a show that can’t go on indefinitely. Now that they know when they can finish up, they can actually work toward a nice powerful ending. I’ve felt like the first couple episodes were really weak (besides the first episode) because they were trying to pad out the season.
Hopefully it won’t end like Lost.
I’m catching up right now, about to watch the 4th episode, and I’m loving it so far, really excited to see how they wrap all of this up. I hope they don’t split it into two seasons though, that’s just silly.
